Our Mission

The Impossible Dream, a universally accessible catamaran, is dedicated to raising awareness of barrier-free design and improving the quality of life for disabled persons through sailing.

 2024 Summer Voyage

The moment that we have been working toward has finally arrived. The Impossible Dream will depart on her 10th annual Summer Voyage of the entire East Coast!

Join us online and in-person as we sail to over one dozen ports taking disabled persons sailing. You can follow our adventures on our FacebookInstagram, and YouTube Channel!

Watch to see how Impossible Dream partnered with Festevents and Wounded Warrior Project to bring barrier-free sailing to the 2021 Virtual Norfolk Harborfest!

Winter at Shake-A-Leg

When not sailing the East Coast, the Impossible Dream is based at Shake-A-Leg Miami, one of the most accessible community boating centers in the world. From this base, the Impossible Dream introduces disabled persons, their families, and others to the joy of sailing and to assist disabled persons to improve their quality of life
